Congratulations Lisa and Scott on a beautiful and elegant wedding. And you couldn't have orchestrated more amazing weather for your wedding day! Lisa and Scott's ceremony and reception was at the heritage Hycroft Mansion in Vancouver, an incredible backdrop for their day.
I love this image of Lisa and her bridesmaids circling together before walking out to the ceremony. The ceremony took place in the Hycroft Rose Garden. Lisa and Scott looking very happy at the end of their ceremony - all married! We captured these images on the grand steps leading to the Gardens. This was a fun and romantic moment in the gardens. This is one of my favourite images we captured on this day - just a simple kiss on one of the beautiful lower lawns. The setting for dinner was so elegant with the long table for Lisa and Scott's guests. The rain was completely unexpected but was followed by a natural light show unlike any we've seen in many years! A quick kiss under the amazing light of the sunny AND rainy skies. Like most of our images these are the completely original colours. Amazing! Lisa and Scott will remember their incredible day forever. A very sweet first dance towards the end of the evening: Thank you Lisa and Scott for the opportunity to capture your day. It's been great fun and a great privilege to get to know you both and to have been a part of such a special wedding. And I think you showed everyone that rain is nothing to be worried about!
Thanks to Culinary Capers - their food, presentation and service was fabulous! And kudos to Simone Greenwood, Culinary Caper's "Day of" Coordinator who did just a fabulous job assisting with planning on the day - you showed so much heart! And a special thank you to Jessica for assisting me and being such a great part of our team.
