Wedding at the Manteo Resort, Kelowna | Erin & Pete

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph Erin and Pete's wedding day this past July in Kelowna. Erin is the sister of a dear friend and fellow photographer, Brendon (of Brendon Purdy Photography), and we had the opportunity to meet Erin's family on a couple of occasions. We met Erin and Pete last year, as they were planning their wedding through their busy schedules as doctors in training. We had our first chance to work with them during their couple session this summer - a beautiful and fun session that showed their sense of play! Erin and Pete's wedding took place at the colorful Manteo Resort in Kelowna on the beautiful Okanagan Lake. Until we arrived in Kelowna for the wedding,  we weren't too familiar with the Manteo Resort, but were very familiar with the El Dorado Hotel which is just next door. The setting on the lake is beautiful, especially towards the end of the day as the sun goes down over the mountains.

Their day was complete from their beautiful outdoor ceremony at Bertram Creek Regional Park to their reception at the Manteo. We were grateful for lots of time with Erin and Pete - enough time to explore areas along the way from the lake view at Bertram Creek Park to the vineyards at St. Hubertus Estate Winery and the pyramid at Summerhill Pyramid Winery.

Here are just a few highlights from their wedding day:
