Sometimes our brides and grooms find us in magazines, sometimes in tradeshows and sometimes through friends - halfway across the country! Erica and Chris (who live in Toronto) found us via a bridesmaid from another wedding we captured last year (how Facebook has changed our lives!). With Erica's family from Vancouver, Chris' family from TO they settled on Vancouver to celebrate their wedding day.
Aimée worked her magic at their couple session the day before the wedding since it was the only opportunity, and then it was onto the BIG DAY! The Unitarian Church on Oak St was the setting for their ceremony (Erica said she really loved the architecture when she saw it), and the ceremony itself was heartfelt and teary - just the way we like it!
The wedding party had so much fun during the creative session - and what a gorgeous day it was! The green of the gals and the dashing bowties of the guys added to the flair of the day - and we loved the pink and green socks - great touch, guys! Erica and Chris were lovely together, and it was great to see their connection after only meeting them once before.
The reception at Empire Restaurant in Richmond was fun and lively with games and laughter amid speeches. Erica's evening dress was simply stunning - so much sparkle - we love how it played with the light! Congratulations, Erica and Chris - your wedding was beautiful and we were honoured to have a part in it!
