Chelsea and Marcus had a wedding we'll remember for a very, very long time. What stands out for us is not simply the visual impact of their day, but the feeling it left with us.
We got to know them through some acting head shots we created for Chelsea over a year ago when they first mentioned that they were engaged. And so we were so thrilled when the opportunity came up just recently to photograph their day. At that time, Chelsea and Marcus talked about a backyard wedding at the same family home where Chelsea's parents were married in Tulameen (near Princeton, BC), but we had no idea what was in store for their day until we arrived!
From the very start of their day, it was clear that Chelsea and Marcus had mobilized a huge team of support to contribute to their day. We loved the bicycle welcome sign as we drove up a gravel road!
And the rest of their day was as beautiful as the beginning, with countless little details and moments - Chelsea's fabulous Converse runners, her gorgeous fairy-tale ball gown, a lovely collection of framed family wedding prints, the custom-built ceremony and performance stage, the pretty backdrops of a family farm and the Tulameen River, their gorgeous tented dinner, their cake created by Marcus' mom, and their super sweet first dance to the live music of the uber-talented Adam Woodall Band.
It was a wedding day to remember!! Congratulations Chelsea and Marcus!
