Sometimes it rains in Vancouver. Mazie and Ken's wedding day was rainy - but it didn't take away from the captivating ambience these two brought to Westwood Plateau earlier this fall. This couple are fabulously fun together - Ken is a creative genius and Mazie is energetic and a perfect match for Ken! It has been fun to get to know them better over the past year.
Their day was spent entirely at Westwood Plateau and the surrounding area of the golf course. The couple were superstars when it came to being outside for the creative session, despite the heavy rain. The weather gave us lush, deep green scenery amid cloudy skies, and Mazie added to the beauty in her Cinderella-looking dress. Ken looked the part in his dashing suit, as did his groomsmen in theirs, and Mazie's lovely bridesmaids in deep purple (perfect for fall!). Best of all their great spirit made the session (and the wedding) fun!
The intimate tea ceremony was followed by a grand reception in the main ballroom, which held guests for the evening amid great food, company and music. Speeches and games filled the night, and then it was time for the first dance, for which Mazie wore a lovely evening gown. Dancing ensued afterwards, and dessert with fabulous crepe stations for anyone who wasn't quite full!
Congratulations, Mazie and Ken - it has been a pleasure getting to know you both!
