Lindsay and Brandon had a simple but fabulous day at Cecil Green! The group started at the oh-so-elegant Hotel Vancouver, with a "first look" between bride and groom in the grand ballroom. After Lindsay and Brandon had had their photographic fill of each other, the wedding party joined them in the ballroom and we captured lots of fun shots. The stage provided a great backdrop for all the activity!
We loved the personal style Lindsay brought to her whole look - we especially loved the Toms shoes - so comfy on a day where comfort is essential! They definitely came in handy when we took the group out on the street (where they received a lot of wonderful attention!) for the creative session. The Vancouver Art Gallery proved to be the perfect spot that day, as well as a colourful art structure on Robson.
Shortly afterwards, we went to Cecil Green House area, where we captured more images around the Anthropology building. The long grasses and view of the mountains created a wonderful vista - luckily, Lindsay and Brandon didn't mind climbing the somewhat rocky terrain!
Cecil Green continues to shine as a wedding reception venue - the feel of the ceremony, the food, decor and dancing amounted to a wonderful afternoon and evening for the guests.
Lindsay and Brandon - thank you for inviting us to be a part of your day - we wish you all the best!
