Getting to know Carlee and Jason has been amazing considering the short amount of time lapsed - from the first time we met them in the summer, to their engagement session, and then on to their wedding day at Furry Creek a few short weeks ago. Their wedding felt intimate, and it was as if everyone already knew each other.
They planned their wedding in a way that allowed friends and family to enjoy each other's company - from the lovely cocktail hour in front of the waterfall, to the careful planning of the seating chart. The entire day was about fun and celebration (and let's be honest, a teensy bit of nerves!). It reflected exactly who Carlee and Jason are as individuals, and as a couple.
Here's a little more about their day, in their own words...
"It was like it was still a big wedding, but it felt really small in a sense - it felt very intimate, and you could definitely sense a lot of the closeness... you could feel the love in the room..."
"I wouldn't change anything. We had the right people there - and we really enjoyed having them all. To be there with us and share in it with us meant so much."
And some great advice from Jason for planning a wedding: "If it doesn't go exactly how you want it or it's not the exact way, then just don't worry about it. Live in the now. Enjoy your moment. Most of it will be over very quickly."
"The most important thing is have the right people"
Congratulations Carlee & Jason!
